Established in 1998, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre is ISO 9001:2008, NAAC, OHSAS 18001, NABL and NABH accredited.
Founded by Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (known worldwide as AMMA), the hospital offers a full range of primary and specialty care medical services and has 7 branches all over India.
Spread over 125 acres of land, the hospital has 12 super-specialty departments and 45 other departments.
In 2015, South Asia’s first ever Bilateral Hand Transplant Surgery was done at AIMS.
